Drs Carità and Donadelli at the FESSH-EFSHT 2023 Congress

Drs Enrico Carità and Alberto Donadelli, orthopaedic surgeons of Clinica San Francesco (GHC group), attended the 2023 Congress of EFSHT (European Federation of Societes for Hand Therapy) held on Rimini, Italy from 10th to 13rd May 2023.
The event was organized in collaboration with FESSH (Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand) and brought together the major Italian, European and international experts of hand surgery. The San Francesco’s physicians attended several training sessions as moderators and speakers focusing on recent procedures of hand and wrist prosthetic surgery as well as the ultrasonography in diagnosis of peripheral nerve diseases.
Dr Carità also acted as member of Examination Committee in exams for the European Diploma of Hand Surgery held in days immediately previous the Congress.
Clinica San Francesco has became over the years an European reference point for the robotic hand and elbow surgery with innovative operations of metacarpal trapezium prosthesis necessary in cases of advanced arthrosis or rhizoarthrosis, carried out in 2021 by the Hand and Elbow Surgery staff, composed by drs Donadelli, Carità and Mara Laterza. Since 2021 the Clinic si reference centre for the Italian Society of Hand Surgery (SICM).
