The Clinica San Francesco of Verona, GHC Group, confirms its international concept and experience.

Drs Enrico Carità and Alberto Donadelli, orthopaedic surgeons specialized in hand and elbow surgery, were among the protagonists of the International Congress of Hand Surgery held in London since 6^th to 10^th June 2022. The “IFSSH, IFSHT & FESSH Combined Congress London 2022” represents an important three-year event, which, always holding in different locations, gathers International Federation of Societes for Surgery of the Hand (IFSSH), the International Federation of Societes for Hand Therapy (IFSHT) and the Federation of European Societes for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH).

“It was an important opportunity to meet other colleagues from all over the world – Dr Donadelli comments – exchanging knowledge and experience. We exposed two presentations, of which one in the form of poster, and an oral presentation on rhizoarthrosis treatment with micrografts of adipose tissue, whose speaker was Dr Carità”.

Clinica San Francesco has became over the years an European reference point for the robotic hand and elbow surgery with innovative operations of metacarpal trapezium prosthesis necessary in cases of advanced arthrosis or rhizoarthrosis, carried out in 2021 by the Hand and Elbow Surgery staff, composed by drs Donadelli, Carità and Laterza. Since 2021 the Clinic si reference centre for the Italian Society of Hand Surgery (SICM).
